Geography - Our Walk Around Blandford

On Wednesday we went to explore the local area. We were looking at houses and collecting data about them.

We walked quite a long way but we kept going and we spotted all kinds of things - like the new houses, ducks on the river and a big detached house in town.

We also went to look at the oldest house that survived the fire of Blandford. The chimneys looked funny because they were not round.

We also stopped for snack by the church. Yummy apples!

We had to find all different types of houses like detached, semi detached and terraced. We also thought about the materials the roofs and houses were made out of.

We recorded them in a table using tally marks and then when we got back to school we used a computer to make a graph for us.
